Saturday Session 2: 3:15PM - 4:45PM

History of Oppression and Resilience

Histories of colonization and patriarchy have taken their toll on our communities. But we are strong and resilient. Activists working for abortion rights, against sterilization, for access to reproductive and sexual health, and for the continued life of our vibrant traditions will speak to their experiences with using history and resilience as tools for understanding and dismantling oppression. This panel will explore strengths across women's movements, trans and gender justice movements, and indigenous people's movements.

Birthing Justice!

This workshop will explore how women’s control over our own birthing experiences has been part of the broader fight for sovereignty and against colonialism and oppression.
