Second Conference Planning Meeting

CLPP student group

When:

Thursday, February 16, 2012 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Where:

Prescott Tavern, Hampshire College

This Thursday, the fun and excitement to organize and plan the 26th annual conference, From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom, continue. If you’re interested in getting involved, please joint us. Come back if you've planned with us before and come for the first time if you are curious! These meetings will take place weekly until the conference on April 13-15. All students and community members from western MA are welcome to participate.

The meeting will be devoted to:

  • an overview of CLPP and PopDev, the conference, and the student group's role
  • activities to get to know other student group members and build a shared understanding of reproductive justice
  • visions and goals for conference organizing
  • organizing committee break-outs (Abortion Speak Out, Accessibility, Childcare, Entertainment, Hospitality, Outreach, and Transportation)
  • important dates to keep in mind

For out more, check out clpp.hampshire.edu/conference. The conference is a project of the Civil Liberties and Public Policy program and the Population and Development program at Hampshire College.

If you would like posters to hang up on your campus, email us and we’ll send you some via campus mail.

Dinner will of course be provided. We hope to see you there!
