Ohio RCRC brings to bear the moral power of religious communities for reproductive choice through education, advocacy, and counseling. We give clear voice to the reproductive issues of people of color, those living in poverty, and other underserved populations.


  • Reproductive Rights and Justice

Internship description: 

This internship would support the Executive Director in executing programs and communications. From event planning (clinic blessings, pastoral care trainings, clergy teach-ins) to communications (maintain Ohio RCRC blog, media engagement, etc.), the intern would help elevate the public profile of Ohio RCRC and strengthen our outreach to communities and congregations.

Internship skills needed: 

-Strong writing and proofreading skills -Ability to analyze media coverage of pro-choice issues in Ohio -Draft faith-based responses to issues pertaining to the reproductive community -Educate and engage supporters via social media -Attend community engagement events and programs -Assist in the planning and organization of events and programs -Experience with engaging clergy and faith leaders -ORCRC has many meetings offsite, and we are looking for an intern with their own car and license -Sometimes we host reproductive health happy hours, so an intern would need to be 21

How to find us: 

Ohio RCRC's office is based in downtown Columbus at the Jefferson Center, a historic neighborhood that houses nonprofit organizations. ( A parking permit is available.) The office is accessible via bus transit, but many events are offsite.

30 hours a week; flexible
