CLPP is the longest operating program at Hampshire College and is a key resource for students to engage issues of social change and justice. Hampshire’s motto, Non Satis Scire (to know is not enough), challenges students to use their knowledge and abilities to make a difference in the world.

CLPP faculty offer classes each year in the School of Critical Social Inquiry. Hampshire students can fulfill Community Engaged Learning (CEL) requirements, and students from other area schools can receive community service credit, by working with CLPP.
