"I am inspired to actively participate in liberation efforts that benefit all, not just some."2017 Conference Participant

Over 1,200 people came to CLPP’s 31st annual activist conference, From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom. People joined us from across the country and from dozens of movements to learn, collaborate, and get inspired to grow their work.

Check out our social media wall for words, video, and pictures about the conference. And save the date for next year’s conference, April 13-15, 2018!

Come spend part of the summer at CLPP!

Images of Hampshire summer programs brochureThis summer, expand your ideas about organizing and put them into action—join us back at Hampshire for one of two summer programs:

Our Institute for Transforming Social Justice (June 5-30) will cover mass incarceration, feminist, queer and transgender activisms, and reproductive justice, and is open to the community and current undergraduates.

Created in collaboration with Soapbox, Inc., the Young Feminist Collaborative (July 17-28) is a two-week residential feminist camp for rising high school juniors and seniors.

Applications for both programs are due soon—financial assistance is available. Use the coupon code CP10 to receive an additional 10% tuition discount!

Valley Gives is on May 2!

Mark your calendars! CLPP is participating in a local giving effort called Valley Gives on May 2. We are participating in this local fundraising day for the first time ever—we need you to help us make it a success!

No matter where you are in the country, please give at whatever amount you are able—no gift is too small or too large. We want to show how deep and wide across the country our support is!

We have a matching gift program set up, so anything you are able to contribute will be matched if you help us reach our goal! Please share our Valley Gives page, and please give on May 2 as you are able.

We are excited to announce that Loretta Ross will be working with CLPP as a visiting faculty during the next academic year, advising students and teaching classes on reproductive justice. Be sure to check out her new book written in collaboration with Rickie Solinger, Reproductive Justice: an Introduction, too!
