#CLPP2019 Call for Proposals Now Open!

CLPP is accepting proposals for our annual conference, From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom! The 2019 conference will bring together over 1,000 student and community activists from across the US and beyond who are committed to achieving reproductive justice for all.

Since 1981, CLPP has been working to realize a world in which all people have the economic, social, and political power necessary to make healthy decisions about our bodies, families, sexuality, and reproduction. Our annual conference brings together students, activists, and academics from across the U.S. and the world to share ideas that inspire reflection, growth, and collaboration across all our communities and generations. We know that you are engaged in amazing organizing, movement building, scholarship, and activism around reproductive justice, and we want to hear about it!

I hope you'll check out our Call for Proposals and think about sharing your work with us April 12th - 14th at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Is there a conversation about reproductive justice that you want to lead? A presentation on your exciting new research you can’t wait to share? Do you want to train folks in media-making for social change, or share strategies for grassroots organizing? Let us know about your current activism, your expertise and experiences, and what you can contribute to the conference! Check out our conference vision statement to learn more about the issues and themes our conference planning team is thinking about as we conceptualize this year's conference.

The deadline for proposals is Friday, September 28nd.

We can't wait to envision a more just world with you. Please tell your friends and fellow activists about the call, and save the date for next year's conference:
