Alissa Robbins is an undergraduate student at Georgia State University. She is double-majoring in Journalism and Women’s Studies with a minor in Public Policy. Before joining SPARK as the Communications/Programs intern, Alissa held the public policy internship at Planned Parenthood Southeast. After securing the Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corps (RRASC) internship for the summer to continue working with SPARK, Alissa was asked to continue work as paid staff for the Fall of 2014. She is also the President of VOX: Voices for Planned Parenthood at GSU and is a student leader on campus. Alissa has served as a mentor and leader to Georgia State students living in university housing for three years as a Resident Assistant. Alissa hopes to secure a Masters degree relating to the non profit field to continue fighting in the Reproductive Justice movement.
