The Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corps is a paid summer internship program that places undergraduate students from eight Western Massachusetts colleges at reproductive rights and social justice organizations for ten week internships.

The RRASC program defines reproductive justice broadly to include human rights, economic justice, racial equality, queer rights, immigrants' rights, access to health services, and youth empowerment.

RRASC internships are substantive in nature. Interns participate in organizing, advocacy, direct service, education, technical support, and research at a wide range of non-profit organizations throughout the country and internationally.

To be eligible for a RRASC 2010 internship, you must:

  • be a student at: Amherst College, Greenfield Community College, Hampshire College, Holyoke Community College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield Technical Community College, or the University of Massachusetts at Amherst
  • not be graduating in spring/summer 2010
  • not be on leave, including traveling abroad, when you apply

Before contacting CLPP staff with questions about the application process, please look here for a detailed description: Internship Application Process. If you still have questions about the process after exploring our website, please contact Corinna Yazbek.
