CLPP Welcomes Verónica Bayetti Flores

We're excited to welcome Verónica Bayetti Flores as our new Assistant Director in charge of CLPP's external leadership projects. Verónica has worked to increase access to contraception and abortion, fought for paid sick leave, demanded access to safe public space for queer youth of color, and helped to lead social justice efforts in Wisconsin, New York City, and Texas. In 2008, Verónica obtained her Master’s degree in the Sexuality and Health program at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, and most recently she did policy analysis and research work at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health. She currently sits on the boards of the National Coalition for LGBT Health and the National Network of Abortion Funds.

Verónica will direct CLPP's New Leadership Networking Initiative and Summer Leadership Institute for emerging advocates, as well as our national summer internship program, the Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corps.  Verónica can be reached at vbayettiflores@hampshire.edu.  Please join us in welcoming Verónica to CLPP!
